A born planner with an eye for innovative design, Kelly is the driving visionary force behind A Savvy Event.
Before founding ASE, Kelly’s impeccable eye for the all-things aesthetic was sharpened by her years working for both the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. She brings her professional interior-design training and close to two decade’s worth of experience in planning, consulting, and coordinating events of all kinds to the table.

Kelly’s natural attention to detail and thorough understanding of each client’s distinct needs and wants makes her an unparalleled guiding force in the planning process. Her passion for good, smart, and shall we say, savvy design, ensures that every event she plans is unique and memorable. When it comes to the weddings she plans, Kelly takes time getting to know each bride and groom, and, from invitation sourcing to linen sampling to cocktail crafting, she weaves a cohesive and flawless design throughout the entire event. One of her favorite parts of working with couples is forming lifelong friendships. While her relationship with each couple usually begins with wedding planning, it often continues when they engage Savvy to plan and execute other milestone-events in their lives (think: baby showers, birthdays, anniversary parties).

In the corporate world, Kelly is driven by her own belief that no two events should be exactly alike. Discovering new ways to approach the standard elements of a well-run corporate event keeps Savvy at the forefront of the industry, and it makes Kelly the designer her peers look to for “what’s new” and “what’s possible” in the world of corporate planning.

When Kelly isn’t busy designing and collaborating with her clients, you can find her spending time with her two daughters – Kate, age 13, and Taylor, age 11. Both of her girls are active in travel basketball and volleyball! If she is not planning, designing and executing an event she is usually on a court somewhere cheering on her daughters.
